I bought these for my son after owning my own pair for the past year. I've hiked in drenching rain in the Tetons and walked around the neighborhood in a snowstorm wearing these rain pants, and they've kept me dry. They're light and easy to pack. The full side zippers are very convenient. Best of all, they come in Short and Tall sizes. I'm 6'4" and 190 lbs, and the Large Tall fit me very well.
