— 8 reviews — Page 1
I bought these for my son after owning my own pair for the past year. I've hiked in drenching rain in the Tetons and walked around the neighborhood in a snowstorm wearing these rain pants, and they've kept me dry. They're light and easy to pack. Effective rain wear until a few years down the road when they begin to delaminate (and loose all water proofness). On both pairs I've owned this begins in the seat after about 4-5 years.

Because ease of use, i think that trousers with full length zip would be the answer. I like it, it is, partly..... it is not easy to wrestle in a downpour and cold fingers with a fiddly zip. A bit like putting a nappy on a wriggling baby! However, once the trousers are on, they are great, they fit well, are lightweight and totally waterproof, hence giving 5 stars.

Compress down small so they are always in my daypack or backpack.
I gave them four stars only because the full length zippers are not waterpr
