Reviews & Ratings for Marmot Red Canyon Pant - Men's

I bought these pants as a gift for someone who was looking for a new pair of rock climbing - specifically bouldering - pants. The gusseted crotch and canvas material are great and the overall look is nice for casual wear, but the pants are not quite flexible enough to allow for easy movement while bouldering. This might partially be because the pants are still new and the material might be a bit stiff, or because the recipient has athletic legs (i.e. big thighs) and the pants fit a bit snug and don't have as much range of motion as they might for someone with thinner legs.
Overall, he really likes the pants for everyday and general outdoor wear, but will likely stick with Carhartts and Millets for bouldering.
