The bag is very nice

by Taras, Verified Owner from DE, United States Written on August 6, 2020
The bag is very nice. I have used it in temperatures bellow freezing and in the snow without any problems. It packs very small and doesn't weigh much. There isn't any sort of color or yoke, although this doesn't seem to be a problem. The price is a bit steep for the bag, but for down it is not really that bad. The shell material is water repellent and drys fairly quickly. It is better than the comparable North Face bags.

Warm , good price

by Gary, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on July 19, 2020
Thsi might be one of the best down sleeping bags with lower price. Even the it is 650PF down, not so high as 800 or 800+PF, but it is still very warm. The design of the sleeping bag is always at high level as Marmot made.
Pros:
  • warm, low price
Cons:
  • not very light
Best Used for:
  • hiking, backpacking, camping etc.

Great bag for backpacking

by Kevin, from CA, United States Written on May 26, 2020
Just purchased for my 5’9” son who grew out of his youth bag. I’ve also owned a Sawtooth since 2008 and love it. He used this new bag for 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend on our trip to the Hoover Wilderness in the eastern Sierras. Temps at night dipped into the low 20s. He (and I) stayed completely warm and toasty in our Sawtooth bags needing only a base layer (to help wick moisture away). The bag has a full length zipper on one side and a short zipper on the opposite side at the hood. Has a pouch in the foot box for heat pouches (which we didn’t need) and a small zipper pouch near shoulder height. Zipper guard works better than my older bag for avoiding snags. Overall bag is very light for the price point and lacks down small. I got it in Campsaver for $192.
Pros:
  • light, packs small
  • light, packs small, comfortable,
Cons:

Excellent Sleeping Bag

by Jamatalu, Verified Owner from UT, United States Written on April 28, 2020
I purchased this sleeping bag because it is cut a little bit differently than your traditional "mummy bag". It's cut to be a little bit wider than a traditional mummy bag.

I purchased the Long version and it fits me just fine (I'm 6'1") with Broad Shoulders. The down material is super nice and lighter than a synthetic bag, this is definitely a bag that will last a long time!

Pro Tip: Don't leave your bag in it's compression sack when not in use, lay it out or have it in the oversized bag (which is included).
