The last pant you will ever buy - Marmot Scree Pants - Men's

I bought these pants after I started to see them everywhere and after reading several amazing reviews. After purchasing them, I started reading even more reviews and I came across some very negative reviews saying that the waist is too high, that they didn't work in warm weather, and that they weren't rugged enough.

Once I received the pants I wore them around my house for about a week without taking the tags off. Then it hit me... these pants are amazing.

They do sit a little higher on the waist but remember where you would be wearing these pants, they are higher waisted because it works better to keep your base layers and undershirts tucked in (read less likely to get drafts blowing in). Marmot thought everything out designing these pants. They won't be great in 90 degree weather but most pants are the same way. And lastly, rugged? I own several pairs of rugged hiking pants by various manufacturers. The Scree pants won't win in a fight against a pair of scissors like some pants but in the balance between weight and ruggedness, these pants have the right balance, especially for the weight.

These pants are incredible. I wear them around the house, to the gym, to the grocery store, and on the trail/mountain. They won't be worn to the office but that is about the only place I won't wear them.
