As a Ranger for They Dyrt, I have the awesome pleasure of reviewing gear from amazing companies in exchange for honest reviews. This time, Matador allowed me to test a Nano Towel, which absolutely rocked!
The Nano towel comes in two sizes with two different price points. I chose the large which is two foot by four foot and is perfectly sized to serve as a shower/beach towel. Now, that doesn't sound huge, but let me tell you, it won't let you down.
It comes in a sort of silicone bubble-type pod that can fit in the palm of your hand. Open on one side to allow it to be stuffed in and pulled out...

I recommend this towel if you go camping or beach Above all quick dry and long and wide. And Its Enough when go to beach / color Also very nice. But a little bit heavy to carry and big if you go backpacking

I love that it comes with a little case you can attach to a pack or bag, less likely to get other things wet. Very easy to remove and put back in. The material dries quickly, a great plus, although toweling off is a little less easy that I would have liked, hence the 4 stars. It does not remove all the moisture or beads of water from your body. You are still left with a humid, tacky feeling after each use for a few minutes; so don't be in a rush to be completely dry. I am happy with the purchase and will continue to use it until I find a towel which is only better in drying me off, for now this is the best I can find!

I have used several backpacking towels over the years and they have all suffered in 3 ways that Matador managed to fix. They are either too small, too heavy and bulky, or not effective at drying and some fit into all 3 categories. Matador solved all these problems with the NanoDry Towel. The first thing I noticed with these towels was just how light they were. When you take them out of their case you will be surprised at how nice it would be to take them backpacking. At the same time when you open them up, they are almost as large as a standard shower towel and can fit around your entire body. They do a wonderful job of drying off your body and then you can wring out almost all the water to use it again and dry off another part of your body. This combination of super thin, light, and large along with excellent drying ability would lead me to highly recommend them. Overall, these towels are incredibly affordable for how well they work and how can be vital for any camping trip or travel situation where water will be involved but space is a concern.
Pros:
Lightweight
soft
Large
absorbent
Cons:
Limited Color choices
Best Used for:
Backpacking
travel
