Moab 2 Mid Waterproof Boots
I love the Moab 2 series boot. I’ve used the shoe version of the Moab 2 for years and it’s been up to every hiking situation I’ve used it. I decided to get the mid version to replace an old boot with the Moab 2. It has the same great fit and room in the toe area while hugging the rest of your foot. After a couple of hours on the trail they were broken in like I had been wearing them for years. I had read where these were considered beginners boots. Nonsense! The shoes fit. They are true to your shoe size. They feel good out of the box and feel even better after a week of wearing them. Yeah, they are a little heavy but the support they give you is worth the extra weight. Nothing like your ankles hurting and you have yet to hike back out. Try them. You'll love them.

Excellent budget hiking shoe
I recently wore this pair for Guadalupe Mtn Peak summit (GUMO), McKittrick Ridge (GUMO), Big Bend South Rim, and few other trails at Big Bend. I logged about 75 miles in span of 5 days. It kept my feet dry during creek crossing and saved my ankles number of times by its mid height which provided adequate ankle support. After all 75 miles in the gravel and dirt trails, the tread still looks new. Best of all its EE width saved my pinky toes being crushed each day. I had my back up Mammut boots just in case which sat in my trunk for whole week. I will likely wear this for my upcoming Lone Star Trail.

Solid hiking boot for beginner hiker myself with good price
These have been extremely comfortable and fits my wider 10.5 feet. I should have bought 11 which would have given far more room. As it is, it is far better fit for little wide feet of mine. Few more short hikes should break in nicely for me. Looking forward to 10-15 mile hikes.

Merrell Moab 2 Mid waterproof hiking boots for men are well designed boots. They're not the lightest boots, but not heavy. I bought half size up for a friend who usually wear 9.5 US. Fast shipping service.

Merrill Moab 2 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boots
These boots are great boots for the price. I Hike 3-4 times a week from 8-12 miles each time. Every time I get a pair of these boots I can wear them straight from the box onto the trail with no problems. Most of my hikes are on rough surface with water crossing in Arizona. Great boots!!!
