Came apart after 2 weeks - Merrell Moab Waterproof Hiking Shoes - Mens

I really wanted to like these trail shoes, they seemed to tick all the boxes but I was left very disappointed. I bought them for a hiking trip around Alaska, I planned to use them on wet and rough terrain but didn't even get a chance to do this as the side of the shoe started to give way after only 2 weeks.

I had only been walking on normal trails and it hadn't even rained once yet the side came away completely allowing water to get inside. Merrell offered me a discount on some more trail shoes but I think I'd rather walk barefoot than buy Merrell again. I've learnt my lesson.
