A waste of a great footbed.
I was excited to get these shoes because I love the mid-Proterra, but these shoes failed to meet my expectations. The laces do not come up far enough on my foot, so I cannot tighten them enough around the top and snug up my heel into the shoe. As a result, my heel slips out of the shoe when I walk. I would never wear them hiking or for anything high performance. The footbed is great--very comf

Good for my daily commute
I needed a good street shoe to get me to/from work in the city. This one does the job!

Most comfortable shoes I've ever had!
I loved the looks of these initially, but when I tried them on I had to have them. I've worn them many times and they didn't require a break-in period and area still the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned! I have other Merrell shoes and boots and they're very durable, even when abused, and always comfortable.

Fantastic sneaker/hiking shoe crossover
This shoe is extremely breathable and with a quick spray of water proofing, becomes a perfect rainy day shoe.
