Aweful fit but warm

I bought these thermals last minute before a high altitude backpacking trip through Peru. The thermals fit (size small for my 28in waist) when I tried them on in the store, but they stretched out by the end of my flight to Lima in the waist, butt, and legs. The thermal waistband sits in the center of where my pack would go, so I had to continuously adjust by rolling down the waistband.

Other than the aweful fit, they were warm. I would suggest buying a smaller size to account for them stretching.
