My wife and I use this product as a tent light for backpacking. It is very light and provides enough light for normal chores in the tent like changing clothes and the like, but not enough for reading. As one would expect from an ultralight gadget like this, it feels a bit flimsy, and we do have to be a bit careful packing it. The lantern doesn't have a hanger, but we make-do by clipping a mini-car
