Amazingly Light - Breathable - Slim Fit

by Neuro Geek, Written on December 12, 2013
This jacket is amazingly warm and light. It has a great slim fit which was a huge selling point. Too many of these down jackets are cut for everybody and therefore have excess material for slim body types. Not this Japanese marvel. Exterior material should not be used for rugged outdoor use, better as a layering piece or casual wearing.

Layering or light jacket

by EG, Written on December 12, 2013
I bought this jacket to use indoors and in city settings--quick foot commutes of a couple of blocks that don't require a heavy jacket or in places where ending up having to carry a heavy jacket around when I am inside is a drag. It's extremely lightweight, and fits well over casual long sleeved clothes without looking bulky. It keeps me very warm in my freezing cold office without making me look

perfect layer

I use this sweater under a shell. It is not too warm and not too cool. I take it on hiking trips because it folds up to the size of a grapefruit.

Super lightweight and excellent color!

This jacket is super lightweight, and yet it still holds a good amount of warmth. If you want it specifically for cold use- it should probably be layered, unless actively exercising. It fits small, so order a size up from what you normally wear- I am a Small and I ordered a Medium and it works great!

Love this jacket!

by Seattle Pam, Written on September 10, 2011
I bought this jacket to take trekking in Bhutan. It's relative thinness is a real asset as it packs to be the size of a softball. It's got 900 fill power (or so it says) but it's not at all bulky. Everyone that sees it wants to try it on. I'm heading trekking next month, and will definitely dress in layers as this alone will not provide the necessary warmth at 17,000 feet.
