Love the quality, but watch the fit!
Right out of the package I was impressed by this entry-level down jacket. The stitching and material was of a high quality. As a low-end jacket, though, the cut was boxy and wide around the waist. Nice but...
Very no-frills, unfortunately when we get cold weather a lot of wind comes with it, and the somewhat generous waist and lack of a draw cord made me return it, it simply does not keep warm air trapped close to your body... Would work as strictly a mid layer, but not very versatile. TNF's cheapest down jacket is the only other insulating layer that I or someone I know have owned that is sans draw co

Great all around jacket especially for the price. Works great down to freezing temps. Real light and packs small.
