Mont Bell Thunder Pass Jacket
For the sale price, this is an incredible deal. Very light coat. Very well made. I've worn it in one hard rain so far and it was bomber--very waterproof and as breathable as any of these coats get. The large is pretty roomy for a 5'11" 160-pound guy, but a bit of bagginess is good for ventilation. Amazing you get pit zips for this price.

Montbell Thunderpass rainjacket
Bought this as a gift. Seems fairly durable. Fit was slightly larger than expected but not too big. Will allow for layering during colder weather. All in all great value. Paid less than $100.

Amazing value
For the price, it doesn't get any better than this. I bought this as a cheap beater jacket, but was surprised to find that is was very similar to my gore-tex pro mountain hardwear jacket, but about a fifth the price. It's actually a laminate instead of a less breathable waterproof coating. It's probably not quite as breathable as gore-tex, but for the price, I can't complain. You can almost ne
