"Borrowed on campout-wont' go back"

by KarlosJ83, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on September 10, 2011
On a week long campout in the Boundary Waters when a fellow camper loaned me this pillow... Comfortable, easy to pack, lightweight, excellent product.... I am ordering one for me and my son this week... Not sure as of yet the durability, but for the one week I was absolutely impressed.

best pillow for backpacking

by markskor, from CA, United States Written on April 3, 2014
After one night, I wondered why I did not buy one sooner.
Wrap a down vest around it and you would swear you were bedded down in some swanky hotel...Yes, that nice. At 3 oz and super tiny... FYI, when backpacking, lives with my sleeping bag, same stuff sack.

Favorite piece of backpacking gear

by MtnClmr, Written on December 12, 2013
I have been using one of these pillows for about 5 years now. It has been one of my staple pieces of gear, I have replaced many other things in my backpacking kit but this item really stands the test of time. Light weight and comfortable, even as I am transitioning to lighter and lighter gear, I can't ever see replacing or leaving it at home. The shape of this pillow is perfect for supporting my h

Mont-Bell UL Pillow

by KarlosJ83, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on September 10, 2011
Replaced Thermorest's Prolite stuff sack with Granite Gear pillow stuff sack. Then use Mont-bell pillow inside Gear Gear pillow stuff sack.

Reduced weight and a good night's sleep

How sweet it is!

Lightest and most comfortable

by Jim, Written on September 10, 2011
I have been using these for 2 years now and they are simply the best backcountry pillows you can get. Lightweight, compact and comfortable. I have tried many other options, such as down pillows, compressible, and other inflatables. This is the best yet, the contoured design cradles your neck and head like an orthopedic pillow and you can adjust the size and firmness with air pressure. I wound up b

Super compact and provides comfort and support, better than a sack full of dirty clothes in my opinion.

You can't go wrong with this pillow

by Baby Freckles, from CO, United States Written on September 10, 2011
This pillow is awesome - super comfy, takes up virtually no room in your pack, it's big enough even for larger heads - you'll never sleep on your jacket again!

Better than rolled-up clothes

by Ace, from NY, United States Written on September 10, 2011
This rolls up so tiny that I had to tie it to my pad to make sure I didn't lose it. It was great to be able to tie it down to my pad so it would not roll away as happens with rolled-up clothes or other pillows. Haven't used enough to test durability, but seems OK.
