Great addition for anyone

The Montbell Down Inner Parka is a great addition for anyone. This is a very versatile piece that I have used in many different situations. I wear it casually as well as using it for a technical piece. It is very lightweight and will stuff down into a small stuff sack that comes with it.

The sleeves and body are true to size but under the armpits and around the chest can feel a little bit tight.

The best backcountry warmth available

Pretty amazing jacket. Montbell has truly revolutionized backcountry warmth with their down jackets. Top quality, extremely comfortable, and a bit cheaper than competitors that weigh more and don't compress as well. The new models aren't as shiny, which makes them a lot more wearable around town.

A Bell ringer! MB U.L. Inner Parka

Evenings and mornings when motorcycle camping.
As an inner parka in the winter under weather proof shell. Lightness is great! Compacts small in stuff sack.
Wouldn't mind zippered pockets and adjustable wrists, but not major issues. Toasty!

Very Nice Insulating layer!

I am 171 lbs at 5'-10" (chest 39"). The medium size is an absolutely perfect fit! I read many reviewers that said the medium would run small on me; They were flat wrong! It is true that I won't be able to wear heavy layers under the UL Down Inner Parka (why such a long name?!), but that isn't necessary for it's intended niche.
