amazing

by KarlosJ83, Gear Expert from UT, United States Written on September 10, 2011
First, I have owned several 800 to 800 plus sleeping bags. Second, I am a very fidgety sleeper. This bag is hands the most comfortable bag I have ever slept in. The bag is ridiculously lightweight and packs amazingly small. Very true to the advertised temp rating. I was amazed at how much this bag stretches when I toss and turn. Most of the flex comes from the diagonal baffles but the stretch

Most comfortable bag ever

by Mike, Written on January 21, 2015
Most comfortable bag I ever tried. I am a big guy, during the pre hiking season (winter weight) I am 240lbs at 5'11" and at hike season end I drop to 195lbs and this bag hugged me with warmth in a non restrictive soft cocoon no matter what I do. I am a tosser and a turner side sleeping tent and shelter kind of guy. I really like this bag and would recommend it to anyone looking for a down bag that wants small size, very light weight with big time performance

Perfect bag for

Montbell's Super Spiral system is really great for big guys like me. I wear a size 54 long coat and too many bags are too tight across the chest and shoulders. With the S.S. system the bag stretches and I can sleep on my back, on either side or on my stomach and best of all i am not stuck in one position. I have three Montbell bags including this one and I love them. I also love the lifetime w

Really nice bag for restless sleepers

by Joe, from CA, United States Written on May 5, 2014
I've used this bag over the past eight months in a variety of conditions, with two trips in the 40s. I was comfortable to the low 40s in a Capilene 2 long sleep shirt, beanie, and light polyester pants (no socks), but I'm a relatively warm sleeper. On warm trips I open the bag up and use it as a quilt with no real difficulty.

I'm a very restless sleeper and this bag lets me move around without wa

Best 0 bag out there...

by Czech Traveller, Written on December 12, 2013
This bag is sensational... I'm 5'11 and around 200lbs so a LOT of the ultralight bags are too constrictive. I'm also a side sleeper and tosser. This bag covers all those problems for me as it stretches, has a great fit for someone my size. The full zipper is also very welcome. I was really impressed that the included stuff sack is also very small as usually the included ones are no good. Stro

Excellent Bag!

Used the bag during a 3 night backpacking trip in YNP. Stayed comfortable in 20 degree weather using a 1/4 inch foam pad and a light base layer. Just recently added a silk liner to the bag during a weekender and I stayed warm wearing only t shirt and shorts.

Super light, super small pack size!

by Moto Camper, from NY, United States Written on September 10, 2013
I love this bag. It's super light, easy to pack, and very comfy. The spiral cut keeps the bag close to you without feeling confining. It will easily keep you warm down to 40 degrees.

a great bag at a great price!

I've only had the Downhugger 30F bag for a couple weeks now, but I am very impressed by everything the bag has to offer. I've used it backpacking once where the temps only got down to the mid 40s and while "camping" at the beach where nightly temps were down in the high 40s. I'm a naturally warm sleeper and found that at the lowest temps I slept very comfortably. The way the bag stretches is am
