I was looking for a compactable, warmish, light jacket to take the place of the heavy fleece I usually take with me that is a pain to fit into my pack. This thing is great for exactly that purpose. A piece of advice; I found I was on the border of medium and large according to thier size chart. Went with the medium and it fits perfectly on me and under my golite rain jacket.
