Montrail Mountain Masochist II Hiking Shoe - Men's
Super trail running shoe for pronating feet - most other shoes I've tried give me shin splits, not these. The wide toe-box is very comfortable. Low heel-raise means I can forefoot strike if I want.

I have worn these twice on the Imogene Run and once on Kendall. I have a narrow heel and pronate. These shoes are awesome. I have had the heel crack on two pair but it may have something to do with my orthotics. I highly recommend these.I tried a couple pairs of La Sportivas but I keep coming back to Montrail.

I use these for serious trail runs and hikes. I love the fit and the way they perform. I have had five pairs. The last three have had major issues with the soles cracking and separating after only 30 or so miles. I exchanged two pai but I am just going to glue these and make it work.I use them on very rocky, steep trails and love the way they fit. I am not sure why the durability has gotten worse

These are great trail running shoes. They are not has high tech as others, but they are reliable, stable, well cushioned and durable. They have good control and breaking. I give them 4 stars as they are good basic shoes

I buy a pair of montrails every few years when the old ones are losing the tread. They never really fall apart, I just wear the sole down to nothing. Couldn't be happier. Montrail, keep making shoes like this!
