Great coat for the money
I bought this to use belaying in winter and for around town. Is made really well, and super warm. I also like that its not to bulky to fit my shell over the top. The fact that it packs into its own inner pocket is handy as well. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the lack of an outside chest pocket, but I knew that before I bought it. The fit is true to size.

Awesome jacket! Fits well.
Thick, but not too thick. Has all the right components of a well made jacket. Highly recommend. This jacket has a super nice color and warms my body on cold mornings in new york. The hood is a little tight but nothing major. Nice big pockets on the outside andn one big one inside. Good length. Good width for a 5'9 150lb man like me.

Midweight Down Jacket
5'7" tall, 135 lbs, ordered size Small. Perfect fit. Even when used over a base layer fleece or sweater.
My go to puffy for alpine skiing on bluebird days at around 20 deg F temps.
My second Mountain Equipment product to date. So happy I found this company and will continue to purchase their products.
Elastic in the hood makes it possible to pull over your head while the main zipper is fully zipped. Great feature! If needed, hood can be rolled up and held in position by a Velcro strap.
Inside zipper wind protection flap actually stays in position to seal out the wind.
Hem covers part of your butt, if you want. Or use the "two" (front and back) hem cords to reduce the length.
Two main zippers make the pee stops and getting into the under layer pockets so easy.
