Excellent second layer
I have been trying many different layers lately. Trust me. I have MANY. Bought this last year and finally used it as a second layer over a light short sleeve wicking T shirt with a light Alpha Direct layer and a light Neoshell over. And this was one of the best layering systems I have worn in a long time. I tend to buy gear and procrastinate using new stuff because I don't want to "ruin" it. But glad I did. It was 13 to 18 degrees and light snow in the White Mountains. I am 5'-11" 194 lbs and long torso. Size Medium was right for this. Sorry I waited to try it.

Quick drying, warm when layered, and doesn't inhibit movement. This is a great fabric. The grid fleece is very warm for it's weight when layered under something. When it's not layered it breathes very will and dries quick because of the grid fleece. I wear it all the time for hiking and trail running in the AM. Fabric has not pilled like other brands I have tried in a similar fabric.
