Just purchased a few of weeks ago, I've been using the Ibex Pro Pant for winter dog walks, and they’ve been fantastic.
Even though they're designed for tough alpine conditions, they work perfectly for keeping me warm and comfortable on cold 20 degree mornings here in Virginia.
The wind-resistant softshell fabric blocks out the cold, and the water resistance handles light snow or drizzle with ease.
The articulated knees and gusseted crotch make movement feel natural, whether I’m stepping over icy patches or crouching to leash up my dog.
The zippered pockets are super handy for carrying treats, gloves, and keys.
They might be built for the mountains, but they’re just as great for everyday winter adventures.
I also have a pair of Ibex Mountain Pants but I like the fit and hand pockets of the Pro Pant better.
Pros:
Fit
material and weight
Feature Rich
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
winter activities
Would recommend: Yes

Just took these to Colorado on a public land recurve bowhunt for Elk, which also turned out to be an aggressive
but also dang near perfect real-world gear test. I'd never used anything from mountain equipment and was excited to try it.. because of the heavy hunting pressure and other non-hunting activity that was present near any type of public access to the Routt NF we decided going in early and covering ground that others weren't willing to cover was the best plan...we hiked up to 5 hours each morning, half of which was in the dark before we started hunting...I beat the snot out of these pants. From climbing through mile long stretches of fallen beetle kill timber, then navigating long sections of sharp rock to crawling hands and knees through some of the thickest mess of brush I'd ever had to get through...the ibex pros took whatever I gave them. I ended up wearing them 4 out of the 5 days I was there because my Sitka mountain pants ripped going over a dead tree at 5am on day one and the pnuma pants I brought didn't have zip vents (45 in the morning 80 mid day) which were a necessity. I realize these aren't marketed as "hunting" pants but they definitely outperformed and out-hunted the ripped 240 dollar ones that were. They look almost new after I washed them upon returning home...great design and amazing durability. Sitka and Kuiu are definitely going to be replaced with Mountain Equipment and similar brands in my closet.
Pros:
Durability, fit, design
Cons:
None
Would recommend: Yes
