I bought this jacket for more than one year. Used it for several really tough trekking routes.
Even this jacket is designed for alpine climbing, but i think it good for trekking as well.
The hood is big enough for a helmet, but it is easy adjustable to cinch tight when you are not wearing a helmet.
The best I love it the GTX pro fabric, it is super reliable in the bad weather. Keep the water outside the jacket and keep you dry.
Reg. the weight, 545g is reasonable light.
I like this jacket.
Pros:
Waterproof, Durable, Good fit
Cons:
no yet
Best Used for:
trekking, alping clibing
Would recommend: Yes

The main fabric of this jacket is GTX pro 80D, which is the same as Arcteryx Alpha SV. This is the reason i chose it.
I just wear it for 4days hike, it performed well in the rain. The design of the hood and the pocket is good for fitting and make it waterproof. The zipper can open from the bottom, i think it is mainly for alpine climbing. I like the tow big side open under the arm, it helps the heat and vapor escape from the inside.
The making looks pretty good.
Hope it will be durable. i like this jacket.
Pros:
waterproof
fits good
good making
Cons:
not very light
Best Used for:
backpacking,
apline climbing
