This is my go to jacket for winter skiing and mountaineering in the cascades. Super warm, I've used it down to 0 degrees. Fit nicely over shells and other layers. Lives in my pack all winter long, I can always count on being warm wearing it. The shell sheds snow nicely and seems pretty durable. The hood has stretch built into the baffles and fits nicely over a hat or helmet without having to fiddl
