When it comes to a raincoat it really has one purpose . . . to keep you nice and dry and this jacket definitely gets the job done! No sneaky rain leaks through and yet it is breathable so I don't get sweaty while hiking. Nice and lightweight is a big plus too. Two thumbs up!
