Very good but not Great
I have last year's version of this shirt and this one. They both have their pros and cons. The newest version is a bit more silkier feeling, smoother on the skin, and may stretch just a tad more. I don't like the fact that instead of a snap button closure for the sleeves when you roll them up, they now have a button you have to weave through the fabric like a traditional button up shirt. This is much more tedious than just having to loop the cloth through the loop on the upper part of the shirt and then snapping two buttons together. This shirt also stays wrinkled. Only way to get them out is ...

Great for Running
This shirt is great for running in. It is cool, wicking and has multiple pockets. My only complaint is Mountain Hardware seems to think women don’t need pockets (the women’s equivalent of this shirt only has one).

Great activewear shirt
I've tried a couple of different button up, long sleeve active wear shirts. Mostly for sun / bug protection while hiking. This is among my favorite because it's the most easy to pass as a normal shirt.

Great shirt
I had ordered another button-up shirt from REI. It was not the same color was what was on their website. I returned it. I found this one for sale on campsaver, and the price was right. I liked the color. The material is super cool and super lightweight. It was a really nice fit. It will be a great shirt to take with my on my PCT trip in the next couple of weeks.
Pros:
- Fit and comfort
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Hiking & Backpacking

Great shirt
Lightweight and comfortable, nice color, subtle look. These shirts are great but I seem to be in between sizes, I am usually a solid medium, this shirt was too baggy in medium (seems to be built for a beer-belly) the small fits better but is tight in the armpits, I settled on the small.
Pros:
- Subtle yet technical
Cons:
- A bit baggy
Best Used for:
- Travel, hiki
- travel, camping and hiking
Would recommend: Yes
Great travel and camping shirt.
This is by far my favorite shirt for travel and backpacking. They are comfortable, durable, versatile and the pocket configuration is stupendous. The zippered pockets are surprisingly useful, particularly when traveling and you have various items you want to keep track of but need to know they are safe and go relatively unnoticed.
Pros:
- Versatile
- COMFORT
- Pockets
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Travel, Camping, Road Trips, Flights

Great hiking shirt
I love this shirt! Bought it for a camping trip through Colorado in the summer. I think it functions best when it's a little cooler out, around 60-70 degrees. So it's great for summer mountain weather. But I also wore it in the high desert plateau of western Colorado where it gets really hot during the day. The back of the collar has an extension to cover the back of your neck when the sun is blazing. I also like the buttons to help keep the sleeves rolled up. I also find it to be more stylish than other hiking shirts I've seen and I've worn it in the city too. Dries really quickly too! I got it at a steal on Camp Saver so I'm always keeping an eye out for another one of a different color.

Canyon Long Sleeve Shirt
An indispensable piece of GEAR! Last fall I was in Zion National Park navigating my way through the many slot canyons ..this shirt was the single best garment I had in my pack! Going from the sunny spots to the shade was a drastic difference between hot and cold… I know now why the appropriately named this shirt!
