Most Helpful Positive Review Happy Hiker
These shorts are durable, light weight and fast drying. My hiking setup includes these shorts and a pair of rainpants when it's wet or gets chilly, so these shorts get a lot of use. I prefer the 7" version to the 9".
Most Helpful Negative Review sizing issues
Item returned because neither the medium nor the small would fit a 32" waist comfortably.

Nicely made but shallow front pockets

I really like Mountain Hardware products. Unfortunately these shorts didn't meet my expectations. They were nicely made but had shallow front pockets. That doesn't work for me so I returned them.

Nice technical shorts, especially for the sale price. Good range of movement, enough pockets to stash most everything, travels under a pack well.
