Too narrow in thighs and calves for hiking

I do not have heavy legs, but these pants (which were very comfortable for sitting and walking) would not allow me to step up two steps at a time in my house (which means that when I hike, they will always drag on my thighs and calves when I have to go up or downhill). So unfortunately they have to be returned. If you will just be walking on level ground, they should fit wonderfully.
