Warm jacket with short sleeves

by S, from VA, United States Written on December 12, 2013
I found the jacket to be plenty warm with good construction. However the jacket felt baggy in the torso and the sleeves were too short. I did not like the detachable hood either.

This coat is AWESOME!!

by Joemontana, Written on December 12, 2013
The coat is excellent! I've had other Mountain Hardwear coats and vests, loved them all. The zipper stopped working on a vest, so I sent it into the company. They replaced the zipper and did a few other niceties. All for no charge, mountain hardwear stuff has a lifetime warranty.

I sent it back and got the Rab Nutrino

Over 6'2

by ProPhoto, Written on September 10, 2011
A photographer, I spend lots of time in the winter all over the West, usually starting my day at 4 a.m. This jacket has good length in back, but the front is about 2 inches shorter than another MH midweight jacket I own. I know that's for a climbing harness, but unless you're climbing with this thing every day, or you're short, unlike me (6'3"), the short torso in front is a real pain (as in fro
