color is so-so, pants are very nice, need side zips
I purchased on final sale to have some goretex pants. They work, but the color is more purple than I would have liked. The quality is very nice. The pants have no give and no extra room in the butt. Why do they still make pants like we don't have butts? and I don't have a butt! Lower them in the front, give them a higher cut in the rear, and always have full length, or at least 3/4 length zippers! and start making leg gaiters again! because the little patches on the bottom of pants don't cut it. All that said, I will keep them because you can't return them anyhow. They are warm, I like the pockets, and the belt tensioner is nice and out of the way, and you can't feel the buckle under a pack strap on the waist.

Mountain Hardwear Cloudbank Gore-Tex Insulated Pants
Delighted with the quality and features of these Mountain Hardwear pants. I’m 5’-10”, 38” waist, and weigh (ugh) 190 lbs. The XL short size fits perfectly. Can’t wait to try them out on the mountain.
