I bought these pants because they were on a gear list for trekking up Mt. Kilimanjaro. They worked out very well at the higher elevations. I am 130lb, 5ft4in, curvy build, and the medium in a short inseam was a perfect fit, with room for a pair of long johns underneath. They are stretchy, with a soft lining inside, and a rugged exterior. They have great pockets. Perfect for scrambling and hikin
