super light and warm

Just what I was expecting, a ultra-light layer of warmth. Not sure how durable the face fabric is, but this will definitely work as a mid-layer and not add too much to the weight. Love how it also packs down to store and take with you when needed.

Nice minimalist vest

I was looking for a lightweight down vest that I could use when layering. This seems to fit the bill. It pack down very well, and it warm without being overly bulky.

Ghost Whisperer Down Vest

Ordered the Men's for my wife because the Women's was (a) not on sale and (b) the women's colors were terrible. My wife is more than a little delighted and admitts the only difference is the darts in the women's model. Not a big deal it seems. This is a proven vest by lots of us who hunt and use it for an inner layer. Great product. Great buy!!!!!!!!!!!!

lite and Comfortable

I like the vest and its features. It does not seem to be as warm as I was expecting. I do not have a lot of experience with down vests so perhaps my expectations are a bit high. I am cold natured. I do love wearing it in the car when driving long or short trips and for stopping getting out and back into care with prtty good comfort.

Nice to look at but not so warm

I purchased this and the first thing I noticed out walking in windy OK is that it is not very warm even when layered. I expected it to be much warmer from the reviews. However if you look at reviews a lot went into appearance as its big point. I returned it for a Mammut Broad Peak vest with about twice the down fill and am tons happier (read warmer). Not particularly warm

I expected with 800 fill down, that this would be much warmer. However, holding it up to the light, you can see that the down doesn't really fill up the whole rib - it drops to the bottom due to gravity. While this is generally to be expected from any down garment, I feel that the price that I paid for this product should have given me better fill of the down in each rib. As a result of this, i
