I have used it on dry and wet months, high altitude camping, 70-80kph winds and this tent surpasses my expectations. Excellent performance. Don't hesitate, just click and buy this tent.

I spend a few months out of the year living and working in the Mojave desert, which this tent works excellently for. My first desert stint I took a super light weight, almost entirely mesh, backpacking tent that couldn't stand up to the wind. This is an excellent tent, but I was somewhat disappointed by the fly. It has an oval window, not a rectangular one, as indicated in all the photos. And it's kind of wimpy looking and feeling. Tough to get it to fit precisely. The old Hammerhead 2 fly was much better. It goes up fairly easily, has good interior space (altho usable vestibule area is exaggerated in the literature). The first time I crawled into this tent I was amazed at how it felt more 'room like' than 'tent like. At 6'2 plenty of length and headroom to kneel and change clothes. The entire inner has fabric panels over the mosquito mesh that can be zipped open or shut to allow unlimited venting choices, or closed off completely for cool weather and privacy.
