Mountain Hardwear Mesa Convertible Pant V.2 - Mens
Like these pants. Very light weight.
I have a 33" waist and went with the medium and they are still slightly big... but not awful at all.
Used them recently on a misty, foggy day with on and off light rain.... didn't put on my rain pants... while I'm not going to say these pants are waterproof... my...

got the 32 - long. Pant says 32 / 34 on it which is what I have worn for years and years. Not even close. Waist was more like a 35, inseam was maybe 33? Not sure if this was just a bad one or what given most reviews as true to size.
The pants seemed pretty nice beside the fit problem.

Light and comfortable. Good fit. The zippers at the knees are subtle and nicely tucked away unlike the unneccesarily bulky zippers other companies use.

No, the pants are not on the ground. It's hard to get the correct sizing and I chose a 32 inch waist based on the reviews I read. I found the man room is a bit small and the zipper is shorter than most pants I have bought in the past causing concern about zippers breaking when putting them on. Also, the back pockets are huge and located in a way that I am always sitting directly on top of my wallet making it uncomfortable sitting in the boat. The positives are the water resistant feature, the nice styling and the ability to convert to shorts although I have not tried to zip off yet. Overall a decent pant.

These pants fit well. They're nice and light. Only downside so far: The front pockets might be a bit too shallow to store important items. Not a big deal unless you're storing all your belongings in your pockets. If that is the case, then these pants might not be enough for you.
