I spent a long time trying to find the right bag that I could wear while climbing. I am about 5'2" and the first time I tried to do an alpine climbing trip I was using a borrowed bag and on the first pitch I realized that a bag that is too tall for you makes it incredibly hard to climb. With the borrowed bag and helmet on I couldn't tip my head back at all to see holds or where I was going which was obviously problematic. This bag works great, it holds everything I need without having to strap a bunch of stuff to the outside. The outside of the bag is tough doesn't snag on bushes when bushwhacking and the height is great allowing for full head movement even with a rope on top and wearing a helmet even for smaller ladies. I would strongly recommend!
