Most reliable tent
I’ve had this tent going on my 11th year now and have used it for at least a weeks worth of camping every year. I’ve camped through storms and have never had any issues with being wet. I’d say it’s a slightly roomier 2 man then most, as I’ve often slept with in it with a friend. The large one sided vestibule has been great for storing my pack when it’s wet to avoid my tent getting wet. Definitely a summer tent, as all the mesh means the tent doesn’t keep any heat in a chilly night, nothing a warm sleeping bag can’t fix. Not an ultralight tent but is plenty light to take on an overnight hike, especially if you’re sharing with another. It has never let me down. The tape over the seams connecting the floor to the walls of the tent has essentially completely frayed away at the 9th year but still not water issues. Other than that I’ve had to replace the shock cords in the poles a couple of times, as I would for any other tent.
Pros:
- Sturdy and built to last
- Spacious
- large vestibule
Cons:
- Gets cold
Best Used for:
- Car Camping
- Backpacking (multi-day)

First trip complete
Spent 5 nights in Emigrant Wilderness in CA. Tent was easy to set up and provided great protection against nightly canyon winds. There was no rain to test rain fly/waterproof ability. Overall tent was a great purchase especially with included footprint.
