I had a Synchro jacket for 20 years which I loved and which has finally disintegrated. and I have struggled to find a lightly insultated rain jacket I can use for my outdoor activities which alas often involve percipitation and cold. This jacket is close but there is too much insuation to be useful unless I am hiking well below freezing. The amount of insulation also makes it bulky to carry. And the zippers are pretty fragile and thin. I expect I will break them soon. It fits nice and lose; it does bead the rain. But I would probably like it more with 1/3 the insulation, bigger pit zips, a better front zipper and draw cords for the hood at the neck
