I bought these to fill out my cold weather camping gear. I recently purchased some Prima Loft pants also. These were warmer than the Prima. I live in IL and it can get sub-zero with bad wind chills and walking with just a pair of fleece leggings on underneath I was quite comfortable.

Pros:

They hold in the heat and keep the wind out.b

Cons:

nylon pants are a little noisy walking, not terrible though

Best Used for:

lounging, camping, walking
