Winter layer
I bought these to fill out my cold weather camping gear. I recently purchased some Prima Loft pants also. These were warmer than the Prima. I live in IL and it can get sub-zero with bad wind chills and walking with just a pair of fleece leggings on underneath I was quite comfortable.
Pros:
- They hold in the heat and keep the wind out.b
Cons:
- nylon pants are a little noisy walking, not terrible though
Best Used for:
- lounging, camping, walking

These pants changed my life
I absolutely love these pants. They are so light and comfortable, I can wear them indoors in my cold apartment without feeling heavy or constricted the way I do in snow pants. When I take them off I immediately feel the cold on my legs. The Large fits true to size but is roomy enough to fit over an actual pair of pants, not just leggings or thermals. I've been so much warmer standing outside at school in the morning during frigid temps.
