I live in Florida so I'm always looking to try new mesh caps that can deal with the rain, extreme heat and sweating and torrential rain. I was looking for an all mesh cap with a strong brim that can handle daily downpours. This hat works great. With the double mesh it breathes well and can handle my sweat rate. The brim is not stiff, but is not floppy either, it's just stiff enough to hold its shape and not hang when saturated. The mesh back is just like a regular trucker hat and is stiff as cardboard but like all truckers it will soften with wear and wash. One thing that bothers me is the mesh backing which extends to the sides tends to feel like sandpaper if it rubs on your ears. The reflective strip on the inner band is a nice touch, but if you wear it out at night you're head is going to glow.
