where's the beef?

Very little beef and beef flavor in this product. One could boost the flavor by taking a little beef bouillion along but then you're still mostly eating beef flavored vegetables. Still, better than a lot of the 'mexican' flavored options.

this stew works fine for backpacking. Light weight and easy to prepare. The taste is pleasant and easy to eat. One of the better tasting stews on the market at least the ones I have tried. Worth the money and you can carry plenty to eat since they are so lightweight. I would recommend.

A hearty filling meal. Great when the weather is cold. Cooks in it's own pouch so no cleanup!

Beef stew is a great flavor and the Pro Packs are great for backpacking because they are smaller than the regular. I would eat one of these by myself for a meal, plan accordingly.
