A complete meal in a pouch.

I have hiked/backpacked the Grand Canyon and the sections of the Appalachian Trail and enjoy the complete meal in a pouch. Easy to cook and clean-up is a breeze. Could add a couple desserts and dried fruit to the menu. Over all a great product!!

Quick get the best from the best

I just had to try each package because i remember freeze dried didnt use to taste ... Well u know very good. But to my amazement each portion tasted wonderful and was a breeze to prep. Lots of food per pak and at only 10 lbs for seven days of yummy chow chow u cant go wrong! Plus to make the deal even sweeter, Campsaver was the best to deal with from start to finish, which added to an already grea

Exactly what I needed!

I have ate Mountain House products at almost every camp out and backpacking trip I have taken. Always delicious and easy to prepare, best of all it is very light weight. Some campers may think that it is too much trouble to pack additional water that you need to cook your meal, I however completely disagree, and suggest they change their camping destinations to locations on water! Great way to save $$$

Great way to save on Mountain House foods if you know you will be using all of it. I wish you could pick and choose your meals, and maybe the sodium content is a little much, but otherwise I think it's a great purchase.

Good Price from Campsaver

These meals taste great and the 7 day case gives you very good variety. I liked all of them but started to notice that the sodium is through the roof on some of them!!! On some of the 2 serving pouches the sodium was as high as 1000mg a serving. (And you can pretty easily eat both servings for a whopping 2000mg.) They didn't taste noticeably salty, I just saw the nutrition info on the package.

Great value

This was a great value and tons of food for a trip to the BWCA. We purchased it for a 4 day canoe trip for 2 of us we both have plenty of food and a nice variety. With the free shipping this was a great value.

Emergency Food Supply

I've used Mtn House for canoe camping trips in the past. I want a 3 month emergency food supply, just in case. Grew tired of having to rotate canned food, finding out of date food, not replacing food in supply. Like the small storage space required, quality of food and long storage life.

A No Brainer

You can't beat not having to pick out 21 maeals individually. 99% of what is in the box is great. Who cares about the 1% when your backpacking, right? Actually, we ordered a box to cover a family over a few days and that worked out great with some additional items. This stuff is amazingly tasty and full of nutrition for a hard day on the trail. Filling too.
