Reviews & Ratings for Mountainsmith Large Travel Trunk Duffel Bag
— 6 reviews — Page 1
Though I have not used it yet, I haave examed the Travel Trunk duffel and find that the quality if first rate. I realized this year that I ghave been travling with a duffel that was too small. With this extra large duffel, I don't need to cram the duffel and I will have room to spare.
The price was great and the ordering and shipping were both quick and easy.

It's a basic giant duffel bag. Made of a fairly heavy material and holds lots of stuff. It can be hard to find an inexpensive bag that will hold up to some abuse and be big enough to keep things properly organized. I use this bag to keep gear all in one place in the back of the truck so I don't have dig around to find everything I'm looking for. It's big enough to hold 4 ropes, ten harnesses, and ten helmets in one bag.

The bag is well constructed and will most likely be durable and sturdy… But, the exact size of the duffle was not clearly listed. The duffel itself was much smaller than I was anticipating. Alas - communication is always key :-/
Pros:
Sturdy and built to last
Cons:
None

Mountainsmith is notorious for its excellent quality & we certainly are not disappointed with our most recent purchase. The trunk, duffel bag we received is everything we knew it would be. It's durable, has plenty of space & pockets and should last for years to come. We look forward to using it!

I love Mountain Smith bags. They are well built and last forever. I still have a lumbar bag I bought 20 years ago and it functions perfectly. This bag is large enough to hold gear and clothing for a long weekend. The straps, cords and buckles are well constructed well placed. I hope I get 20 plus years of use out of this bag.
Pros:
Well built
Cons:
None
