This light tent sets up in a matter of minutes with only two poles (color coated) and clear directions on the bag. A door on each side is one of my favorite features, allowing your fellow camper to wake before you without causing a stir. There's a loop on the ceiling of the tent, which is great for hanging a lantern. The pockets in the corner keep small things out of the way like headlamps and bug spray. It's easy to adjust for different climates and weather thanks to the tarp. The flaps can be rolled up or pulled out, and there are two hatches you can open to allow air flow. We made it throug...

Great tent for new Boyscout

by Satisifed Customer, Verified Owner from WA, United States Written on April 23, 2018
I purchased this tent for a new/young Boyscout who needs to learn the basics of camping and responsibility. (Typically Mom and Dad will do camp set up during family outings.) This tent is easy to set up for a beginner, light enough to take on a long hike and simple to roll up and put away.

Excellent Tent - Tough as Nails

by TimT, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on February 8, 2018
This is my second Morrison 2 tent. The quality is excellent. It is a heavier tent than some, but the zip windows, the dual doors, the dual vestibules and the tough floor make this tent nearly indestructible as a 3 1/2 season tent. I have two ultralight tents that I use when backpacking on my own. With my new dog, I decided teh extra weight was well worth the toughness I expect for my Sheprador. The tent has amazing room for two, and we have spent many nights in this tent under very grueling storms. If a company could make such a tent and shave off 2 lbs, that would be great, but I doubt that will happen. You can gain a 1/2 - 3/4 lb by ditching the packaging bag, and swapping the stakes for MSR Groundhogs, or simply don't tke stakes and use rock as anchors. Best to you.
Pros:
  • durable
  • Tough
  • Great for Dogs
  • Great for two people
Cons:
  • weight a bit high

Tent for car camping

by Van P., Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on December 2, 2017
It's good tent for the price from the specification. I haven't set it up in camping yet. I find it a little bit heavier than when I read from the spec, 2.6kg. So I think it's for car camping rather than backpacking
I will add more comment when I use it

A friend recommended this tent, so I bought it and couldn't have been happier. I put it up in 5 minutes, and inside it's spacious with a high ceiling. Perfect for car camping!

Satisfied with the time it took to deliver. There were no missing parts which is always a concern. So happy with that. The tent setup is fast and not complicated. Looks great! Can't wait to use it. Thank you!

This tent worked great for my needs, packed in my motorcycle saddlebag, set-up easy, just enough room for 1 person and their gear.

very easy tent to set up pretty small once you pack it all up only down side is its not the most water resistant, camped on a foggy night and woke up to my sleeping bag wet. But other then that it's a great tent

Only used it on one trip so far here in Germany. Shipping was really quick. Tent held up through two days of light to moderate rain with no leaks. Great price for value. I am 5'3" and set this tent up fine by myself in just a few min. Would recommend footprint I bought with it. Happy trails!

Great Tent for the Money

by Paul C., from NH, United States Written on July 2, 2015
This tent is easy to setup, two doors for easy access and worked well on my first over-nighter in the White Mountains of NH. The vents on the top are great and they even designed a small pole into the fabric that keeps the vent open. Very happy with my purchase. I got better pricing here than my pro price with Mountain Smith.
