Used this tarp (with steel poles sold separately) for 6 days on a Desolation Canyon river trip. We had multiple days of high wind and not a single tear!
The multiple guy line options were very useful to secure the tarp as well. The rain fell on it several days and we had no leaks of any type for a dry cook area and place to hang out out of the rain.
