Solid construction

A key feature and product differentiator are the sewn tie-down loops as opposed to the typical grommets used in most tarps. This should make for a stronger solution making the tarp better able to handle wind loads. I use tarps for shade on hot beaches and for hammock camping.

Big wind!!

Used this tarp (with steel poles sold separately) for 6 days on a Desolation Canyon river trip. We had multiple days of high wind and not a single tear! The multiple guy line options were very useful to secure the tarp as well. The rain fell on it several days and we had no leaks of any type for a dry cook area and place to hang out out of the rain.

I have yet to use it, I just received it. It immediately felt heavier than expected, but luckily, I have multple high end annually calibrated scales, as I own a coffee roaster, and its packed weight is 2lb 12 oz, or 2.75lb, or 44oz.
