Great alternative pack style.

My new go to day pack

I have shoulder and upper back issues that are aggravated by pressure so I needed to to find a waist pack. This is it! I used it for a recent trip involving several hikes. Plenty of room and very comfortable.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
  • adjustable
  • Roomy & Lightweight
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Day hike

*almost* what I wanted

I thought this was going to be more of a canvas texture than the nylon shiny appearance it had when I received it based on the 2016 model that I loved. Also I think the small size is better for my needs so I’m actually exchanging it for the tour small. But I LOVE these bags overall. I still have one from 2002 and it has been so well used and loved for travel and hiking and beyond. Perfect amount of pockets and space- can fit SO much in these packs.

  • Incredibly durable.
  • So practical
Cons:
  • Material is more shiny than I like
Best Used for:
  • Travel, backpacking, hiking

Tour Lumbar Pack

Well made, but smaller than I expected. It could be a little larger front to back. The shoulder strap is too thin and the pad walks off of my shoulder. I replaced the strap with one from another pack.
