Most Helpful Positive Review Long Lasting
I have had this pack for seven years. Nothing is broken, it only shows slight signs of wear, and I've used it daily during that time from a school bag to a day back, and most recently a diaper bag. Extremely versatile. I switched over to another backpack for a while and trashed it in a couple months...this pack has lasted me years and is still going strong. Sometimes it is difficult to get adjuste

Good day pack alternative

by Big Sky gal, from MT, United States Written on April 18, 2016
I bought this as an alternative to a day pack. I was looking for something that didn't put any weight on my shoulders. This pack does the trick. It is comfortable, fits my small frame, can pack 2 quarts of water, and is well made. My only complaint is that the water bottles are a tight fit and are ackward to access.

Great size

Perfect size for short day hikes. You can also tuck in the waistbelt and use the bag as a good travel purse. Very happy with the quality.

Excellent for day hikes!

by William R., Written on February 5, 2016
This pack, combined with the strappettes, is fantastic for day trips. It allows you to carry plenty of water, as well as food, a hat, gloves, etc-anything you may need for a day out. That it is made out of hemp-a natural material-is a bonus, as I will sometimes use this for stalking. Brush doesnt make that annoying zipping sound against this material, which can often spook wildlife. A great pack, overall, very happy with the purchase!

Versatile Fanny Pack

by Elaine, from NC, United States Written on June 28, 2015
This is an extremely useful style pack. (It is the second such I have owned; my other is the larger version.) - It has sufficient pockets to organize what you are carrying, and is sized to work well (and easily converts) as either a fanny pack or a shoulder bag for a more 'proper' look if you need to look more 'dressy'. Both wearing styles are comfortable. The material is very durable with sturdy zippers that are protected from rain by overhanging flaps. The waterbottle holders fit a standard size container rather than the rotund Nalgene type.

Good pack for short hikes

by Kait, from MI, United States Written on August 5, 2014
I used this pack while doing short day hikes in Vermont. Hikes were usually around 3-7 miles and this pack was plenty big enough to hold everything I needed: water, gaterade, rain gear, extra layer, extra socks, snacks, and small miscellaneous essentials.
My only complaint is that the waist band becomes loose easily and I found myself having to adjust it almost every time I took it off. I found th

Extraordinary pack

by Drew wilderness, Written on May 5, 2014
Outstanding pack. I use this pack on short outdoor activities as well as every day in my job as an IT consultant. It carries my tablet, phone, USB drives, glasses, etc. It has room for all my gotta haves. The configuration of a shoulder strap, handles, and a luxurious padded hip belt, allow me to configure the pack quickly for the activity at hand. I could not be more pleased.

Great Pack

by Mary, Written on December 12, 2013
I bought this pack specifically for field and birding trips. I put my field guide, water, and sometimes the binoculars and it works perfectly. I also took it to Sea World and it worked great. I plan to use it for many field trips.
