The stackability of the MSR 'system' is nice. I was hoping to include this in an emergency kit - that would involve use over a fire. Is it usable over a fire? Short answer - no, it probably shouldn't be.

Apparently aluminum and titanium are not so great for fires - but I've used both over fires many times without issue.

The problem with this particular pot is that the nifty folding handle gizmo
