Most Helpful Positive Review Well built Bag
I bought this specifically for alpine use. I'll be climbing Mont Blanc in a few months and everything I read said to use a hard Nalgene bottle. I'm going to use a smaller pack than is usual so "space" is at a premium. I need a collapsible bottle that can withstand high altitude. The Dromedary Bag lo...

Most Helpful Negative Review MSR, shame on you
We used these bags for a desert kayak trip because they easily mold to the bottom of a kayak, are space efficient, and have no sharp edges. The bag is durable and excellent for this use. The strap around the edges is perfect for clipping to your kayak, carrying, or hanging in a tree. The cap it come...

The MSR dromdary bag might be the best water bag for expedition, which made by MSR with high quality. it can be filled with hot water, but i usually do't do that. the strip on both side make it easy to carry.
Pros:
  • durable, easy to use
Cons:
  • Expensive
Best Used for:
  • expedition, trekking

Just what I was looking for

by Allie, Verified Owner from Taiwan Written on December 1, 2021
This thing is so well made. its clearly built for long-term. I bring it out every weekend and have enough water for all the days. I bough the 4L one as the other ones seem to be too much water for just me and my wife.

Just looking for

by Allie, Verified Owner from Taiwan Written on May 20, 2021
These collapsible water bags take up much less space than rigid carriers. Space is an important consideration for off-road camping. I can fill up what I need and fold the remainder up. As I use water, I can also fold up the empties.

good things

by peak, Verified Owner from Bei Jing, China Written on September 21, 2020
We always use this guy in Alps. in daytime, it's bag to hold water from river. In night, we can put it in to sleeping bag with hot water. Oh, very comfortable ^_^ . The next day, we have warm water to drink or wash. The biggest advantage it can hold boiled water. And can be used in any environment.

It’s really what i’m looking for. It’s strong enough to take anywhere. I think 4l dromedary is enough for me to hike 1day desert area. Also hydration kit is useful. I can drink water Without stopping hiking.

Simple but smart

by Bradycs, Verified Owner from OK, United States Written on June 8, 2019
Have not got to test bag yet. Seems very tough, and Durable. Very cool but simple thought was given to design the cap. 3 parts to it. Large cap for filling blatter, smaller cap for drinking,or poring water, small flip up I use for letting air out to fold up blatter.

perfect for camping

by east, Verified Owner from New Territories, Hong Kong Written on April 30, 2018
the msr dromedary bag is durable and lightweighting, with 3 sizes avaliable I can have the suitable size for different kinds of camping trips, the only small parts to be improved is the inside a bit smelly when it is newly open, you will need to clear by water several times to remove the smell, but overall it is perfert for UL camping lovers. Highly recommanded!
